Welcome to Interiorhood. By accessing or using this website, you (the “Customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Interiorhood reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of such changes.

  1. Website Use & Intellectual Property
  • All content, logos, designs, product images, and text on this site are the property of Interiorhood.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written consent.
  • Use of this site for fraudulent, unlawful, or abusive purposes is strictly prohibited.

 

  1. Orders & Payment
  • Orders are confirmed only once payment has been received.
  • We accept secure online payments via:
  • PayFast (Credit/Debit Card, EFT, Instant EFT)
  • PayJustNow (Interest-free instalments)
  • Cash on Delivery is not available.
  • All payments must be completed before order dispatch.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Payments

  • Orders paid via EFT will only be processed and goods released once the funds have cleared and are reflected in Interiorhood’s bank account.
  • If an immediate EFT is made, goods will still be released only once Interiorhood verifies that the funds have been received.
  • Proof of payment alone does not constitute receipt of funds.
  • Orders will not be dispatched or collected until payment is fully verified.
  1. Pricing & Product Information
  • All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT (if applicable).
  • Prices may change without notice.
  • While we strive for accuracy, Interiorhood reserves the right to correct any errors in product details, pricing, or availability and to refuse or cancel orders placed at incorrect prices.

 

  1. Delivery Policy
  • Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your location.
  • Standard delivery: 3–5 working days to major areas, up to 7 working days for outlying areas.
  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors beyond our control.
  • If no one is available at your nominated address, the courier will attempt re-delivery. Re-delivery costs may be charged to you.
  • Risk and ownership transfer to the Customer upon delivery to the address provided.

 

  1. Lost or Delayed Parcels
  • Once dispatched, delivery becomes the responsibility of our courier partners.
  • If your order does not arrive within 7 working days of dispatch, please notify us via info@interiorhood.com.
  • If confirmed lost by the courier, we will either:
    • Replace the product (subject to availability), or
    • Refund you in full, including delivery costs.

 

  1. Returns & Refunds
  • You may return eligible products within 30 days of delivery.
  • Returns are accepted for:
    • Change of mind (unopened, unused, in original packaging), or
    • Defective/faulty goods (in line with the Consumer Protection Act 6-month warranty).
  • Delivery fees are non-refundable, except where Interiorhood is at fault.
  • Refunds will be processed via the original payment method.
  • Returns must be logged via the Interiorhood website. Items returned without logging will not be accepted.

 

  1. Cancellations
  • Interiorhood may cancel an order if:
    • Stock is unavailable,
    • Fraud is suspected, or
    • Payment has not cleared.
  • Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 7–10 working days.

 

  1. Defective or Damaged Goods
  • In line with the Consumer Protection Act, customers have the right to return defective or unsafe goods within 6 months of purchase.
  • Interiorhood will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or refund defective goods.
  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or normal wear and tear is not covered.

 

  1. Stock Availability
  • Stock is limited and subject to availability.
  • If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, you will be notified and refunded in full.

 

  1. Limitation of Liability
  • Interiorhood is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from use of our products or services.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring products are suitable for their intended use.

 

  1. Privacy & Data Protection (POPIA)
  • Interiorhood respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
  • Information collected is used solely to process orders, deliveries, and communication with customers.
  • Your details will not be shared with third parties except as required to complete your order (e.g., courier services).

 

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.

Interiorhood Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Interiorhood, we work with trusted courier partners to deliver your order safely and quickly.

  1. Delivery Areas
  • We deliver nationwide within South Africa.
  • Some remote or outlying areas may only be serviced on specific days.
  1. Delivery Times
  • Major cities & towns: 3–5 working days.
  • Outlying areas: Up to 7 working days.
  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier capacity, public holidays, or external factors.
  1. Delivery Fees
  • Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.
  • All delivery fees are payable upfront when placing your order.
  • Cash on Delivery is not available.
  1. Receiving Your Order
  • Please ensure that you, or an authorised representative, are available to accept delivery.
  • On delivery, the courier may request your signature or proof of receipt.
  • If nobody is available, the courier will attempt re-delivery, and re-delivery costs may apply.
  1. Risk & Ownership
  • Risk and ownership of products transfer to the customer upon delivery at the address provided.
  • If you instruct the courier to leave the parcel in a safe place, Interiorhood cannot be held liable for loss or damage.
  1. Delays & Exceptions
  • We aim to deliver within the stated timelines but cannot be held liable for delays beyond our control.
  • If your order is delayed, we will notify you and work with our courier to resolve the issue.
